Every day you’re hit with a barrage of information. Through mobile phones, the internet, social media, email, television, radio, newspapers and books. We receive about 105,000 words or 23 words per second in half a day (12 hours) (during waking hours). Although you can’t really read these 105,000 words each day, this is the real number estimated to be reaching the human eyes and ears every day. After adding pictures, videos, games, and all the other images we see, you reach the volume of 34 gigabytes of information per day on average!
This means you need to stand out to be memorable. To achieve this you need to:
develop a strong, focused brand image
communicate through a clear and consistent voice
maintain a consistent look and feel across all media
use both traditional and digital media to promote your brand
